The CLUB100 Cadet Championship, designed for drivers from the year of their 8th birthday up to the year of their 13th birthday.

For too long, the only way for young drivers to make a step up from their local indoor or outdoor rental karting venue, has been for drivers to purchase, race and maintain their own race kart with all the associated costs and logistical hurdles that entails. Until now…

The CLUB100 Cadet Championship is an “arrive-and-drive” high performance kart racing series for those young drivers looking to make that next step without having to purchase their own kart. Instead, everything is provided by CLUB100; the karts, fuel, tyres etc. Drivers simply turn up and drive.

The 2027 CLUB100 Cadet Northern Championships will be hosted at 6 of the best outdoor kart circuits in the UK providing a variety of different challenges for drivers to hone their skills.

PRICING

£315.00 inc. VAT per round.

£60.00 one-off championship registration fee.

Weight Classes

Super-Lightweight Class

Min racing weight: 40kg

Lightweight Class

Min racing weight: 53kg

Drivers must be a minimum of 45Kg to enter this class

*Drivers weighing below the minimum racing weight will add ballast to the kart to achieve the racing weight limits.

Format

The championship runs from April through to November.

The Races take on the format of –

Practice	11 Minutes
Qualifying	11 Minutes
Pre-Final Race	11 Minutes
Trophy Final Race.	11 Minutes

The Championship is run over 7 rounds with 10 championship point scoring finals (Pre-Finals + Finals) to count.

Each class consists of a maximum entry of 60 drivers per round.

Important Information

All cadets regardless of weight category must weigh a minimum of 27KG (inclusive of race wear), plus a minimum height of 125cm.

Drivers must provide their own race wear and MUST be homologated to meet Motorsport UK regulations as follows –

HELMET – Must be SNELL rated and FIA CMR specific.

RACE SUIT – Must be FIA approved Level 2/Grade 1/Grade 2 Minimum standard

Note: Novice drivers looking to move up to Club100 must attend a Test Session prior to racing.

Academy Days

The CLUB100 Cadet Championships will kick off with 2 “Academy Days” in February 2027 where drivers will have the opportunity to get to grips with the handling of the kart in a pressure free environment. A select group of the CLUB100 team will be on hand to offer drivers tips and guidance on getting up to speed with the new karts.

Each day offers drivers a total of 4 x10 minute sessions and are bookable via the Championship Registration. The Academy Days will also form part of a driver evaluation where drivers will need to demonstrate competency in safety and awareness.

Drivers who competed in 2026 are welcome to enter the Academy days to use as practice prior to the start of the championship.

The price per Academy day is £225.00 Inc VAT per entrant.
