For too long, the only way for young drivers to make a step up from their
local indoor or outdoor rental karting venue, has been for drivers to purchase, race and maintain their own race kart with all of the associated costs and logistical hurdles that entails. Until now…
The CLUB100 Cadet Championship is an national “arrive-and-drive” high performance kart racing series for those young drivers looking to make that next step without having to purchase their own kart. Instead, everything is provided by CLUB100; the karts, fuel, tyres etc. Drivers simply turn up and drive.
The 2025 CLUB100 Cadet Northern Championships will be hosted at 5 of the best outdoor kart circuits in the UK providing a variety of different challenges for drivers to hone their skills.

*Drivers will add ballast to the kart to achieve the minimum racing weight.
Format
The 5 round championship will then run from April through to October.
The events take on the format of –
- 11 Minutes Practice
- 11 Minutes Qualifying
- 11 Minutes Pre-Final Race
- 11 Minute Trophy Final Race.
The Championship is run over 5 rounds with 8 championship point scoring finals (Pre-Finals + Finals) to count. Each class consists of a maximum entry of 40 drivers per round.
Important Information
All cadets regardless of weight category must weigh a minimum of 27KG (inclusive of race wear), plus a minimum height of 125cm.
Drivers must provide their own race wear and MUST be homologated to meet Motorsport UK regulations as follows –
- HELMET – Must be SNELL rated and FIA CMR specific.
- RACE SUIT – Must be FIA approved Level 2 Minimum standard.
Academy Days
The CLUB100 Cadet Championships will kick off with 2 “Academy Days” in February and March 2025 where drivers will have the opportunity to get to grips with the handling of the kart in a pressure free environment.
A select group of the CLUB100 team will be on hand to offer drivers tips and guidance on getting up to speed with the new karts.
Each day offers drivers a total of 4 x10 minute sessions and are bookable via the Championship Registration. The Academy Days will also form part of a driver evaluation where drivers will need to demonstrate competency in safety and awareness.
Drivers who competed in 2024 are welcome to enter the Academy days to use as practice prior to the start of the championship.
The price per Academy day is £200.00 Inc VAT per entrant.
