Lightweight Sprint Championship 2013, Rd.4

James Reveler was the man on form as he took pole for final 1. Daniel Truman lined up 2nd with Luke Cousins and Frederick Gallagher on row 2. There were a couple of notable names further down the grid in the form of Miguel Hall and Glen Beard who could only manage 7th and 8th respectively.

Reveler held the lead at the start. Cousins jumped Truman but it was Zack Swannell who was the big winner and jumped from 5th to 3rd. However, Hall was also on the move and took 3rd on lap 3. Not deterred, Swannell took the place back a couple of laps later and these 2 got into a heated battle. Unfortunately Swannell went off, giving Hall 3rd and promoting Beard to 4th and Truman to 5th. Back at the front and Reveler won easily from Cousins. Hall finished 3rd.

Reveler was once again the man to beat with pole for final 2 ahead of Cousins, Hall, Truman and Richard Ward. Again making a good start, he soon eased out a gap over the chasing pack which was led by Hall and Cousins. Cousins was all over the back of Hall and swept past on lap 5. He then set about catching the leader but, although he managed to close the gap, ran out of time. Reveller made it a double win with Cousins 2nd and Hall 3rd. Rich Ward came home 4th after a good battle with Glen Beard, who fell back in the closing stages.
