Curt Holmes Captures Key A Final Victory in Battle For P2

Joe Holmes is already confirmed as overall Champion but can brother Curt hang onto second place? Adam Wright is now nine points back and as he rightly said after Whilton all he can do is go for it and see how it all pans out. Alex Pritchard is fourth some distance ahead of fifth placed Tim Williams who is seventh overall.

Newman Battles Through To Take Title With Another Whilton Triumph

A hard earned Championship win for Rob Newman. No wonder dad Barry has a dodgy ticker ( his words) as Rob certainly likes to put his fans through the ringer. But he invariably comes good when it matters. Dante Dhillon has run Rob close at times this year and opened up his season with two A Final wins in the first two runs. But he’s not managed a win since but he’s almost always been a front runner.

Rob Newman continues to lead the way from Dante Dhillon who needs to get back to his early season form if he’s to overtake the Championship leader over the final three rounds. It was good to see Ed Barrs back to his best at Llandow and taking a clean sweep. Is he out of the hunt? We’ll see.

Harrison Kirkham sits fourth and leads C2 by some distance from Yousuf Bin-Suhayl who is tenth overall. Adam Sheargold heads C3 with Tommy Lee second and just a couple of places back in the overall standings. James Brittain is third.

Rob Newman remains at the top of the order with Dante Dhillon close behind in second. There is then a big gap to third placed Dan Seager. Dante needs a quick return to his early season form after a disappointing result at Lydd.

Harrison Kirkham missed Lydd but remains fourth and leads Class 2 by some distance from Yousuf Bin-Suhayl. Sam Lovelace is fifth and only four points behind Seager. It’s going to be an interesting battle between these two in what will surely be a battle for third with Newman and Dhillon pretty much out of reach at the top of the standings.

Adam Sheargold heads Class 3 by just one point from Tommy Lee with Yusuf Soeharjano third.

A Class of His Own – Joe Holmes…

Joe Holmes claimed maximum points at Lydd and does of course have a commanding lead at the top of the standings. He’s just in a class of his own at the moment. The manner of his victories at Lydd was just outrageous. From second to fourth though is a different story with just two points separating Adam Wright, Curt Holmes and Alex Pritchard.

Tim Penny is fifth and leading Class 2 from Kyle Walker and Callan Sigafoos whilst Joneld Muhaj leads Class 3 from Jason Kirkham and Antonio Gizzonio. Bit of a scoring anomaly here as Joneld has missed the last two rounds.

Lee Henderson leads the SuperHeavyweight pack but Bill Taylor is beginning to close. Will Henderson crack and allow reigning Champion Taylor to overhaul him? Mike Bodnar is third.
