For the Novice Heavyweight Class, to create a level playing field, Club100 imposes a minimum (intermediate) weight limit of 90KG, the knock-on effect being extremely close racing.

It is each driver’s responsibility to ensure they achieve the minimum required weight limit. Full details on how to achieve the minimum weight limit are available on request.

Each driver’s Kart is randomly allocated for practice/qualifying and each race. To avoid confusion, drivers carry the same number for the season.

The grids for race 1 is determined by each driver’s fastest qualifying time. The grid for race 2 is determined by each driver’s finishing position in race 1

A 10 minute practice session is provided prior to qualifying. The session is used more of a warm up to familiarise with the Kart, circuit and conditions. An option to change your Kart will be available. However, strict rules are enforced to prevent drivers from changing their Kart for little or no reason! At the end of practice, the clock is re-set to go straight in to a 5 minute qualifying session.

The races are 20 minutes duration.

The series is run over 7 rounds, with each driver’s best 10 individual race scores counting towards the championship and each class having their own separate championship tables. Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd are awarded to the top 3 from each class per event.
