The season kicks off with 4 Academy days offering each entrant a total of 4 x10 minute practice sessions, during which time drivers will be evaluated to ensure safety awareness and competence to compete in the championship. Entry to the Academy days is bookable via the Championship Registration.

The price per Academy day is £180.00 Inc VAT per entrant.

The Races take on the format of – Practice, Qualifying, Pre-Final and Final. Minimum racing weights are enforced. The Championship is run over 10 rounds with 16 championship point scoring finals (Pre-Finals + Finals) to count. Each event consists of a maximum entry of 60 drivers per round.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – All cadets regardless of weight category must weigh a minimum of 27KG (inclusive of race wear), plus a minimum height of 125cm. The minimum eligible weight for the Cadet Lightweight category is 50kg (inclusive of racewear).

Drivers must provide their own race wear and MUST be homologated to meet Motorsport UK regulations as follows –

  • HELMET – Must be SNELL rated and FIA CMR specific.
  • RACE SUIT – Must be FIA approved Level 2 Minimum standard


The minimum entry weight limit is 50Kg. This can include race suit, helmet, boots and gloves. A driver falling below this weight limit is not eligible to compete. The Championship minimum racing weight is 50Kg

It is each driver’s responsibility to ensure they achieve the minimum required weight limit. Full details on how to achieve minimum weights are available on request.

Practice is 11 minutes and is generally used by drivers to familiarize with the circuit and the Kart.

Qualifying is 11 minutes duration. At the 11 minute mark, the chequered flag is shown. The timing will continue to include each driver’s final lap time.

Following qualifying, all drivers will compete in 2 finals (A, B or C Pre-Finals and Finals). The top 18 qualifiers will be placed in the Pre-A Final, the next 20 in the B, with the remainder in the C

Each drivers finishing position in the Pre-Finals will determine the grid for the finals.

The top 2 finishers in the Pre-C Final will repe-chage onto the back of the grid for the Pre-B Final and race again. Similarly, the top 2 finishers in the Pre-B Final will repe-chage onto the back of the grid of the Pre-A Final and race again. All finals will be of 11 minutes duration.

The results along with championship tables from each race meeting are posted on the comprehensive CLUB100 website at the end of the event. Lap times, lap charts and virtual timing screens are also available.

Our racing is run on a very tight schedule, failure to arrive on time can result in you missing the event on the basis that you have not attended the briefing.
