  • Min racing weight:
  • 12 rounds
  • Single class
  • £230.00 per round inc. + £55.00 one-off registration fee

Designed for our fastest and most experienced drivers, by invitation from CLUB100.

Each round will consist of 3 race heats of 8 minutes duration and a Final of 10 minutes duration. All drivers will compete in each race. There are 12 rounds, with each driver’s best 9 points scoring finals counting towards the championship.

The maximum entry is 24 drivers.

Weight limits

The Elite Sprint Championships’ minimum racing weight limit is 85kg. Any drivers weighing in below 85kg will have to ensure that they make this legal weight limit. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure they check their weight at each race using the CLUB100 scales. The recommended way of achieving the limit is weight fitted to a seat insert or attached to the two weight posts situated by the seat on the Karts. To determine a driver’s weight limit, each driver should include their full kit i.e. Crash Helmets, Overalls, Boots and seat Inserts (we do not include the number plate and transponder). Random checks will be made at each event during the season. Any driver found to be lighter than the required weight will be excluded from that race.

Practice is 5 laps and is generally used by drivers to familiarise with the circuit and give the kart a shake down. At the end of practice the chequered flag is shown signifying the end of practice and the start of rolling formation laps to form up the two-by-two grid for the first heat.

Race heats

The 3 heats are 8 minutes duration. For heats 2 and 3, drivers will receive 1 warm up lap prior to formation. Points will be awarded for finishing positions.

Race final

Following the race heats, all drivers will compete in the 10 minute final. Grid positions for the final are calculated by the addition of each competitor’s points accrued in the heats i.e. the highest point scorer will gain pole position and so on down to the lowest point scorer starting last.
In the final, drivers are given 3 practice/kart check laps to test their karts prior to the race, and may change their kart at any time during these three laps.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishing drivers in the Final.

Race reports / results service

The results along with championship tables from each race meeting are posted on the comprehensive CLUB100 website at the end of the event. Lap times, lap charts and virtual timing screens are also available. The race reports which include all finals in all events are usually posted within one week after each event.
