The season kicks off with 2 Academy days offering each entrant a total of 4 x12 minute practice sessions, during which time drivers will be evaluated to ensure safety awareness and competence to compete in the championship. Entry to the Academy days is bookable via the Championship Registration.
The price per Academy day is £152.00 Inc VAT per entrant.
The Races take on the format of – Practice, Qualifying, Pre-Final and Final. Minimum racing weights are enforced. The Championship is run over 7 rounds with 10 championship point scoring finals (Pre-Finals + Finals) to count. Each event consists of a maximum entry of 40 drivers per round.
All rounds (including the Academy) are split into half days. For example, Super-Cadets race in the morning and Cadets race in the afternoon. Then alternating on a round by round basis.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Drivers must be a minimum weight of 27KG (inclusive of race wear), plus a minimum height of 125cm to be eligible.
The minimum entry weight limit is 27Kg. This can include race suit, helmet, boots and gloves. A driver falling below this weight limit is not eligible to compete. The Championship minimum racing weight is 35Kg
It is each driver’s responsibility to ensure they achieve the minimum required weight limit. Full details on how to achieve minimum weights are available on request.
Practice is 12 minutes and is generally used by drivers to familiarize with the circuit and the Kart.
Qualifying is 10 minutes duration. At the 10 minute mark, the chequered flag is shown. The timing will continue to include each drivers final lap time.
Following qualifying, all drivers will compete in 2 finals (A or B Pre-Finals and Finals). The top 18 qualifiers will be placed in the Pre-A Final, with the remaining drivers in the Pre-B Final.
Each drivers finishing position in the Pre-Finals will determine the grid for the finals.
The top 2 finishers in the Pre-B Final will repe-chage onto the back of the grid for the Pre-A Final and race again. Remaining drivers will compete in the B Final. All finals will be of 12 minutes duration.
Aside from our Academy days. Drivers may want to take advantage of our extra testing dates.
The results along with championship tables from each race meeting are posted on the comprehensive CLUB100 website at the end of the event. Lap times, lap charts and virtual timing screens are also available. The race reports are usually posted within one week after each event.
Our Sprint racing is run on a very tight schedule, failure to arrive on time can result in you missing the event on the basis that you have not attended the briefing.
