BIG NEWS – Club100 & BUKC Join Forces at Autosport International
We are very pleased to announce that Club100 Racing Limited has acquired 3T Racing – owners and administrators of the British University Karting Championship, as well as the BUKC Graduates Championship, the BUKC 24 Hour, and an interest in the British Schools Karting Championship. Will Tew, the driving force behind 3T Racing, who many of our Club100 members, and ourselves, need to thank for introducing them to Club100 via the BUKC, is joining Club100 as a partner in Club100 Racing Ltd’s business. Club100 has been involved with BUKC since 2001/2002 when Will, with his entrepreneurial vision, acquired the fledgling IUKC and brought Club100 in to provide the engineering and organisational support. From there BUKC has grown and grown, and the synergy has been perfect for both BUKC, and for Club100 Racing Ltd and we see a great opportunity to extend this relationship in what one might describe as the premium end of the arrive and drive rental karting market in the UK, much of which we have created. And for those of you who don’t know Will Tew yet, or him from BUKC, you may also know him as both a talented driver in Club100 in his own right, a bonvivant and by his timing system, which we of course use, yes he is half of Alpha Timing Systems and is standing behind Alpha Live video streaming, and probably half a dozen other projects, some of which you may know, and some he is yet to surprise the world with. He will be a great asset to Club100 Racing Ltd going forward. So you are ahead of the game, John Vigor and Will Tew will be making their partnership official, as it were, with their very first outing together this coming weekend at the Autosport International, and you are all cordially invited to drop in to chat with them, on our bijou Club100 and BUKC booth, as we show our 2018 wares at Birmingham NEC from Thursday, at the Autopsort International – The Racing Car Show, 11-14 January 2018. We are in Hall 6 – Stand 6711.
